Александра — театральный педагог (Uniarts, Helsinki) и исследовательница театра. Может быть, поэтому занятия театром для нее — это всегда лаборатория, совместный творческий поиск, где результат непредсказуем. В этом поиске учитель может направлять и поддерживать учеников, но итог работы зависит от всей группы — от взаимной поддержки и общей ответственности. «Исследование» вовсе не означает скуку. Наоборот. Путешествие может начаться с самого странного и веселого вопроса. Например: а как прочитал бы пьесу «Гамлет» марсианин? Или: а что, если бы я носила на голове яичницу, а завтракала шляпой?

Александра считает, что нет на свете ничего лучше совместной творческой работы. Она любит театр за свободу воображать и возможность быть здесь и сейчас; за право играть серьезно и быть серьезным играючи; за то, что театр учит быть вместе с другими, становясь самим собой.

Aleksandra is a theatre teacher (Uniarts Helsinki) and theatre researcher. Perhaps that is why, for her, theatre is always a laboratory — a shared creative exploration where the outcome cannot be known in advance. The teacher can guide and support the students along the way, but what emerges depends on the whole group, on mutual support and shared responsibility.

‘Research’ needn’t be boring. Quite the opposite! The journey might begin with the strangest and funniest of questions. For example: how would a Martian read Hamlet? Or: what if I wore a fried egg on my head and had a hat for breakfast?

Aleksandra believes there is nothing better than creating something together. She loves theatre for the freedom to imagine and the chance to be fully present; for the permission to play seriously and to be serious playfully; and for the way theatre teaches us to be with others while becoming more fully ourselves.
